I really like how this one turned out. Less is more. I didn't try to layer on a lot of colour, and it looks much better this way. I'll make sure to not use a lot on the next ones I'm making.

eeee the feeling you get when you don't mess up

Also, the light source is coming from the back, that's why the edge of the wolf is all whitish. I am not sure how to do light sources coming from the back, so, if I messed up with the light source, please tell me.
I wanted to give it a background, but I didn't because it looks so purdy this way and I might mess it up.
I rate this a 4.6 out of 5
I don't draw wolves very often, so not quite sure about the anatomy for it. Thanks for the tip
The fur is really precisely done. I love how you cared about the direction in which it grows. Also, great work with shadows.
The eyes are probably the most beautiful part.
At the first sight' I didn't understand what are the white parts around it.. After reading a description, I guess it is how it the fur looks lighted from behind. I believe it must be tricky to draw something like that, but maybe that lighter part of the fur doesn't suit the rest of the drawing..
I'm really a beginner and I'm pretty clumsy with all that lightning/shadows/composition etc stuff. I guess it is a good idea to try drawing some challenging shots like this and I think you've done a good job.
And thanks!
